Project controlling | Print |

for PMO, program, project portfolio and project managers as well as (future) project planners and controllers

You are an experienced project manager, assistant or team member with a high level of responsibility and you are familiar with the foundations of project management?
and/or

You would like to move further towards project management "Best Practices"?
and/or

You have been appointed as project planner and/or controller of a large, complex project

Then this is the right place for you:
Project controlling is the execution of those processes and measures chosen during planning to ensure during project execution that the project purposes and goals are met within their constraints in scope, time, budget and quality. Project controlling is, furthermore, point of contact between project and organizational controlling. Role, methods and instruments of project controlling are the focus of this seminar.

The purpose

The content

The facts

Why should you consider this seminar?
Far more than day to day business, projects are exposed to uncertainties, changes, issues, risks and opportunities during their life cycle that influence the achievement of the project's goals.

Based on the PMI ® standards, this seminar focuses on dealing with changes, issues, known and unknown risks and opportunities during project execution. You will learn which kinds of information are necessary to evaluate the project's progress and which measures and measurements are useful.

Furthermore, this seminar covers methods to analyze and interpret the information and to decide whether to launch corrective actions - and to monitor and control their course and effects.
