Multi project and project portfolio management | Print |

for (future)  PMO and project portfolio managers as well as team members with responsibility

You are an experienced project manager, assistant or team member with a high level of responsibility and you are familiar with the foundations of project management?
and/or

You would like to progress in/towards managing PMOs and project portfolios?

Then this is the right place for you:
Projects are a great means of translating strategies and changes into action and to deliver services to clients. It is, therefore, not surprising that they are used variously and vastly within organizations. The result is that multiple projects - that may or may not depend on each other - run parallel to and compete with each other and day to day business for the same resources. The challenge of multi project and project portfolio management is to select and prioritize projects that are most important for the achievement of the organization's goals. This seminar is dedicated to the methods, tools and techniques to master this challenge with success.

The facts

Why should you consider this seminar?
Projects, programs and day to day business constantly compete for resources and attention. Limited budgets force organizations to choose their projects and programs wisely and prioritize those of importance for the overall strategic goals of the organization. It is the task and challenge of multi project and project portfolio management to make the selection and prioritization for the benefit of the organization, to assign resources appropriately to the projects and programs - in consideration of all risks and opportunities involved.

At the same time, their operative contribution to the successful accomplishment of the projects is paramount, in particular for overall project and program management controlling, quality management, risk management and knowledge management.

This seminar teaches approaches, methods, tools and techniques of multi project and project portfolio management trailed, tested and used by our trainers, consultants and interim managers.
