Target audience: Project assistants, team members, future project managers and project managers with less than 3 years experience with a good knowledge and understanding of PMI's ® project management standards and best practices.
Prerequisites:
A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) and at least 1,500 hours experience OR
23 hours of project management education (e.g. amontis CAPM ®/ PMP ® preparation seminar)

Target audience: Experienced project managers with very good knowledge and understanding of PMI's ® project management standards and best practices.

A 4 year degree (bachelor or the global equivalent) and at least 3 years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education (e.g. amontis CAPM ®/ PMP ® preparation seminar) OR
A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) with at least 5 years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education (e.g. amontis CAPM ®/ PMP ® preparation seminar).

Target audience: Experienced program managers with very good knowledge and understanding of PMI's ® project and program management standards and best practices.
Pre-requisites:
A 4 year degree (bachelor or the global equivalent), with at least 4 years of project management experience and 4 years of program management experience OR
A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent), with at least 4 years of project management experience and 7 years of program management experience.

Target audience: Experienced project risk managers with very good knowledge and understanding of the PMI ® standards and best practices, especially in regards to project risk management.
Pre-requisites:
A 4 year degree (bachelor or the global equivalent), with at least 3,000 hours of project risk management experience and 30 hours of project risk management education (e.g. amontis PMI-RMP ® preparation seminar) OR
A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) with at least 4,500 hours of project risk management experience and 40 hours of project risk management education (e.g. amontis PMI-RMP ® preparation seminar).

Re-Certification: To maintain their status, PMPs, PgMPs and PMI-RMPs have to collect 60 Professional Development Units PDUs over the course of three years and get them accredited by the Project Management Institute PMI ®.
PDUs: For PMI ®, PDUs are the proof of continuous project management engagement. PDUs can and should be collected through different means. More information at www.pmi.org
